An island lay in the distance, covered by the darkness of night. The island was close by the continental stone wall of the Red Line, far from the rest of East Blue. It was of course the perfect location, then, for covering up some of the World Government's less... Popular acts. They'd managed to get their hands on information about the island, allowing them to plan an offensive against the island. The island in question, of course, was a mining facility where slaves belonging to the World Government were brought down into the deep mine shafts and forced to dig for minerals and resources. Anything that wasn't of direct use to the World Government could easily sold off to pay for other things like new battleships. It went without saying that they held little regard for the lives of the slaves.
They were still quite a ways away from shore. There was no need to sail right up and expose themselves. No, confronting the island directly was needless. A Marine force stationed at the island protected it, and the Yonkou felt there were better ways to deal with them. His main priority was freeing the slaves and destroying the mine, but he knew he couldn't just ignore the Marine force either. They would have to free the slaves first, start a revolt and take the Marines by surprise. Taking out whoever was in charge was likely to be necessary too, but that was his own job. If he needed it, he'd have Tempest as well with him. His eyes focused on the island ahead as he stood by the edge of his own ship, a small boat already sitting in the water beside the ship.
"We'll need to approach under the darkness and sneak onshore. They're more than likely to have troops stationed around the island, especially around both the camp where the slaves are being kept as well as the main headquarters on the island," he remarked, remembering his own days at a slave camp not unlike this one. He tightened his fists, his brows furrowing at the thought. "We'll have to free the slaves first before we begin the attack on the headquarters. Its too risky to take on the entire force by ourselves. We'll need to move quickly however - the moment we take out the Marines around the slave camp, its only a matter of time before the others notice. Understood?".
The Tiger Shark Fishman turned back to his crewmate, expecting a response. The Swordsman was new to the crew, but he was tough. He could handle a mission like this, Lao Hu reasoned. Assuming everything went smoothly, there would be little to worry about. Lao Hu's only main concern was with his water supply - how long would it last him? On land, he had to be much more reliant on the water in the atmosphere, which was better suited to some techniques more than others. His gourd could only carry so much water. Once they captured a ship and took the slaves off the island, there was no chance of the Marines fighting back. Fighting a Fishman like Lao Hu at sea was too great a risk for them. But while he was on land, he'd have to conserve some of his techniques lest he be left defenseless at a critical moment.
