"Hmm, so I have joined a crew finally. I wonder what it will be like, sailing in a ship bigger than my body is long. Maybe it will be much easier, especially when violent storms rock themselves upon the waves."
The strange man who, despite the warm weather, was still wearing a scarf around his neck, was pattering aloud to himself just behind the bar he had come from. He hadn't bothered really reading much into what he signed, he really didn't have any reason to in all honesty, he was practically a 'dead man' as it went. He could never return home, or he would have to fight his sister to the death by law. He sighed, thinking back on his old life in the kingdom.
"Days long past are forlorn and wary of those yet to come. But with head held high and uplifted chin, I shall walk my path this day and those before me. With a life no longer alone, I may face my forward challenges with utmost bravery, for I know that should I die, I shall not die unknown and in despair of loneliness."
He laughed, before leaning against the wall just beside the back door. He looked around before quietly whispering to himself
"Ah, 'tis such a life of leisure I do now lead, much better than the restless titter of royalty."
He spoke that with his eyes closed and a smile on his face, thinking himself alone thanks to the noise of the building just behind his back.
