27 || FEMALE || SUPERHUMAN || MARINE/CP9 IDENTIFICATIONFull Name: Emma T. Baskerville
Aliases: Bloodhound
Sexuality: Asexual
Date of Birth: 05/05
Crew: None
Alignment: Lawful Neutral
Zodiac Sign: Taurus
Personal Jolly Roger: A clenched fist. PERSONALITYPOSITIVE TRAITS:
- Intelligent: Although she is considered of above-average intelligence, even for a cipher pol operative, that is merely a front for an even more vicious, ambitious intelligence. Indeed, all of her actions require her to juggle competing interests and objectives. As she seeks to subtly influence and manipulate the entire cipher pol agency towards unknowingly aiding her in attaining her own goals, she must be so subtly, supremely manipulative that it is no longer a front, but a personality that she inhabits that just happens to fit all the requirements for future goals.
- Creative: While not especially renown for this, it is an undeniable fact that her ability to change her plans on the fly to account for added complications is virtually unparalleled. This is generally due to the fact that her plans are so complex that they are almost designed never to succeed without some serious alterations.
- Ambitious: She seeks to create, with her own hands, or through the hands of others, a world of strife. While the world does not currently resemble a utopia by any means, she would plunge it into enough of a battlefield as to start a fresh chapter in history.
- Driven: Epoch-changing strife has been her goal her entire life. If it were any other world, she would be considered delusional. Fortunately, this is an era of grand dreams, not to mention grand schemes and hers is certainly not the most ambitious as it is possible.
- Charismatic: Not necessarily in the conventional sense, but although people may not like her, they will, usually despite themselves, find her views interesting.
NEGATIVE TRAITS:
- Moral Sociopathy: Although not blessed with what might be considered a conventional sense of morality, the Bloodhound most certainly has a set of ethics. Surprisingly, this does not, in fact, require her to stay loyal to the World Government or to the Marines, they merely introduce her to the most interesting battlefields, and the most interesting work: her long term plans, if anything, go quite against their interests. What is known about her morality mostly involves an acknowledgement of 'might makes right' and 'purpose is admirable.'
- Merciless: Let's just say that she does not have the luxury of picking her assassination targets. Nor does she care. If she does do anything tactically unsound, it is certainly not out of a misplaced sense of mercy.
- Personality: Her personality is a bit too flexible. Though she usually wears a stoic, business facade, it is one she employs because she is 'too charismatic' to be a proper actress. This supposedly hides a perpetually delighted demeanor, endlessly philosophical and charming, which itself, is hiding her true personality which resembles stoic, business facade. Honestly, she no longer remembers what she is 'really' like, having thrown such a trivial thing away in pursuit of her goals.
- Impulsive: When she sees a chance for victory, no matter how small, she will stride towards it. Hers is not a dream that can allow for measured thought, it requires a proactive approach. Unfortunately, she can be a bit too proactive, requiring her to be flexible as well.
- Provocable: Not easily, but it is possible for people to do so. This generally involves spilling a great deal of blood and awakening her 'demonic' heritage. She, as much as is possible, keeps it under wraps.

APPEARANCEImage Link: Here.
Height: 5’10’’
Weight: 150 lbs
Hair Color: Blond, long and done up in a ponytail.
Eye Color: Blue
Attire: She wears a suit, and wears it well. Brown is the usual color, though she will compliment it with a red cravat tie and the occasional pair of white gloves. Being a three-piece suit, it's a rather layered outfit: she weara white, collared shirt, black waistcoat, as well as brown jacket, and then possible overcoat. There’s nothing particularly remarkable about the suit itself, it is well-fitted, but at the end of the day from a typical haberdasher and of unremarkable origins. It needs to be cheap after all, her budget is not unlimited and they tend to be so flimsy.
Abnormalities: Her canine are unusually large and sharp. BACKGROUND Emma was born on a war-torn island. It’s a boring story, really, with all the familiar faces: a decadent monarchy, an overzealous military, an eager revolution, and enough hope to drown cities. Which did drown, in the end, come to think of it.
But really, that's not important.
The war, called the Guillotine Revolution after one of the nobles ended up enjoying the hospitality of one, shattered the kingdom and invited all manner of ruffians within, or, more likely, seduced those who were never very far from the blurry end of the moral line into crossing over that horizon: warmongers joined the charlatans, slavers the thieves, sadists the soldiers. Survival, never easy, was made torturous. War devoured all in its path: it did not care for age, for gender, for hope, for prayer, just power. Power over life, power over death, power whatever its form: money, strength, smarts, luck.
There was a beautifully stark simplicity in such a world.
And one of its children, even when the war ended, grew to seek further purity on the battlefield, indeed, to plunge the world into such a battlefield.
Discovered by marine recruiters after the war had passed, Emma was conscripted into the Cipher Pol training program where she earned significant praise for her strength, less so for her bloodlust. Although it required significant training to bring her strength under her control, she is considered one of the CP9's more dependable operatives, free of such constraining things as morality, repugnance, or human decency, and yet still admirably loyal.
Although apparently too talkative or too stoic to fully be capable of erasing her presence when trying to 'fit in', she has her own means of operating socially in a stealthy manner when the situation requires it. Given her particular demonic affinity, she is generally employed as a tracker, pointing teams into the proper location, as well as tracking high-priority targets (and killing them too, of course).
ADDITIONAL INFOPERSONAL DRIVE: To change the current world order.

ABILITIES AND INVENTORY INVENTORYWeapons
- Fortinbras Family Heirloom: A sword of excellent quality, it is by far Emma’s most valuable possession. With two sharp edges and a guard that envelops the entire hand, it is resembles a combat rapier.
Non-weapons
- An engraved, silver lighter: an expensive, silver lighter shaped like a hound.
- Silver cross: she wears a silver cross around her neck at all times.
- Cigarillos: she carries with her a package of expensive cigarillos.
- Glasses: She wears two thin, round glasses.
ABILITIES- SORU: Soru allows the users to moves at extremely high speeds in order to avoid attacks, as well as to attack at higher speeds. It was revealed that the principle of this move was to kick off the ground at least ten times in a blink of an eye.
- TEKKAI: Tekkai hardens the users' muscles to the level of iron, in order to nullify damage taken from attacks. However, it can be broken by strong enough forces. The strength of Tekkai can vary for users with different physical conditions, as a person with a higher level of muscular strength would be able to take stronger forces with his/her use of Tekkai. Despite the increased physical density that one gains when activating this move, one should remember that the user's body is still flesh and blood. Thus, its resistance to other than solid attacks remain pretty much the same, making the user as vulnerable as ever to certain attacks.
- KAMI-E: The Rokushiki technique known as Kami-e makes the users' body go limp in order to avoid any attacks, and float like a piece of paper.
RACIAL FEATURES- HELLHOUND SENSES: Heightened reflexes and senses, especially when compared to the human norm. Her nose is especially potent, capable of picking out a weeks-old trail in the middle of a city, or a drop of blood at sea. Given her ancestry's demonic origin, attempts to make a weak point out of her sense of smell fail more often than not.
- HELLHOUND STRENGTH: While her base strength could already be considered that of a demon, capable of wrenching doors off hinges, and smashing straight through concrete walls, what makes it truly fearsome is that the more blood is spilled, (hers, her allies, her enemies, innocents, whatever) the stronger she becomes. This is not purely advantageous though: the more she taps into her demon side, the closer she becomes a true demon, incapable of rational thought, or, indeed, any thought at all. Generally, it is safest for her to tap into her own wounds for strength as their pain keeps the demon at bay.
