His right ear also has a small slice in it. BACKGROUND His life as a pirate began at a young age, or perhaps theif would be a better title. He was an orphan who lived on the streets. Him and an older boy whom he looked up to as a big brother stole to eat and slept wherever they could find shelter. This worked well for a few years. However, the town he grew up in became more and more built up and he was caught. However, rather than punishing him straight away the man listened and after hearing the explanation he adopted the pair. This man was a famous swordmaster and trained both of them. He aimed to give them a trade. When Tempest was 15 he found out that his 'father' was a former pirate, and a famous one at that. He looked up to the man greatly and asked if he and his 'brother' were pirate material. The man looked thoughtful and said that his 'brother' was, but he was not. This upset Tempest greatly, especially when his brother left to join a crew at the recommendation of the man. A year later Tempest ran away aiming to prove to the man that he was worthy of being a pirate and not just a pirate, one of the most famous pirates ever. He'd show his 'brother' and his 'father'. He would be the best. On his journey he developed the fighting style his father had taught him to incorporate two blades rather than one and eventually became incredibly skilled. This was made easier by his ambidextrous nature. Due to the high speed of the attacks he named it the Mugendai Yaiba or Infinity Blade style. Nenshou (Burning): A one-handed crimson sword that is slightly heavy to wield, but due to this once it has momenetum it hits harder than a light sword. Non-weapons ABILITIES Name: Mugenken Ryuu (Infinity Blade School) Description: This is the main fighting style of Tempest Blackfire. It is a fighting style combining high speed use of up to two swords and in some cases none at all in order to perform devastating techniques. Name: Shinmugen (True Infinity) Description: A pre-requisite for using the Shinmugen techniques, the ultimate techniques of his style. This increases the efficiency of the muscles greatly allowing the user to wield their weapons with a high speed, this also allows for faster movement. When in effect techniques that do not require this to be used are doubled in strength and can be used twice as many times before requiring a cooldown. Whilst his is in effect his body glows slightly red and a black aura forms around his body that resembles black flames. This form can only be maintained for six posts and requires a two post cooldown for his body to recover. Name: Inhuman endurance Description: Through his harsh life before adoption and through his training with his 'father' as well as some of his exploits afterwards Tempest has managed to build up an almost superhuman level of endurance allowing him to keep fighting longer than most people, even when damaged. Name: Flaming Thief Description: An ability that he named after his nickname when he was young. Well, something people shouted after him in the manner of 'stop you flaming thief'. As he grew up on the streets having to steal to live he picked up a very high level of skill at thievery. He seemed to have a natural talent for this anyway, but his life turned it into an art form. This ability has become very useful as he can do things like snatch items without people noticing and even catch arrows out of the air. Name: Shikiryuu ( Four Seasons School) Description: Techniques that his father taught him. Many he adapted and in his opinion improved to form his Mugenken Ryuu.
