22 || MALE || SUPER HUMAN || PIRATE IDENTIFICATIONFull Name: Flint Bronze
Aliases: "Desperado" Flint AKA The Number 1 most dangerous man to be within a kilometer radius of in a fight AKA the Smiling Gunman
Sexuality: Hetero
Date of Birth: 25th April
Crew: First Mate of the Black Moon Pirates
Alignment: Chaotic Good
Zodiac Sign: Taurus
Personal Jolly Roger: A Skull with 'Happy' up turned eyes and where the cross bones are instead it has two pistols linked by a chain. PERSONALITYPOSITIVE TRAITS:
- Dependable, because no matter what else you can say about him Flint'll always be around to support his friends
- Honest, while he may not be the cleverest pirate on the ocean, there's a good chance he's the most honest. He's the type who would send the Marines a more accurate photo of his face because the original poster didn't resemble him.
- Brave, when the chips are down at any rate, Flint usually backs down from fights he can avoid but if it's non-negotiable then all hell breaks lose and he'd fight a Yonkou for his Captain.
- Disciplined, as I said, he wouldn't kick-off at slight provocation it's got to be an order or a massive violation of his personal ethics (or self defense). Incredibly handy trait in a sniper. Goes well with his last good feature.
- Unflappable, while it may frustrate his Captain, Flint doesn't seem to react to much. While it's
possible almost confirmed that he just bottles it up and vents it at appropriate times, he rarely seems phased by even the most outlandish of things, being completely deadpan, and has an even temperament. Mostly...
NEGATIVE TRAITS:
- Unobservant, while he doesn't seem very surprised by things, he also seems about the same level of surprise to things that are blindingly obvious, and is almost a side effect of being so deadpan.
- Excessive Greed, yes, Flint is more than a little charmed by the concept of Berri and will hoard it relentlessly. It's a genuine concern he'll sink the ship with all the money he keeps trying to save.
- Non-confrontational, while he clearly isn't a coward, Flint strongly believes discretion is the better part of valor and usually won't get into an avoidable fight even if he has to use outlandish means to avoid one.
- Robbery, Flint has a bad habit of mugging folks who look rich, even at the most inconvenient times. Allies are not exempt from his policy.
- Anger management. Usually, Flint's got a strong hold on his temper and looks cheery and unassuming. But when he snaps... well, he normally grins and that's when you start seeing bodies. He'll laugh, he'll go nuts and just generally lets all that repressed feeling out in one big rush.

DISLIKES:
- The World Government

APPEARANCEImage Link: Here with a rifle
Height: 6ft 2
Weight: 78 KG
Hair Color: Blond, loosely spiked backwards
Eye Color: Blue
Attire: Conveniently similar to the picture, he's usually seen wearing plain cotton clothes (normally a blank white t-shirt) and a pair of denim jeans, though harder to get hold of outside of his home country he still thinks their better than more practical sea-faring ware. For his feet, boots designed for walking are preferable. When the weather gets colder, he usually wears a sleeveless jacket to keep warm, normally a black one or green with padding to help defend against being shot.
Abnormalities: While he looks mostly human, Flint's eyes usually look half lidded and this is mostly because of their enhanced function meaning he doesn't need to strain them much. Other than that he doesn't show much sign of his unusual blood.
BACKGROUND Flint Bronze, the former most Wanted Man of a town on Cactus Island in Grand Line. From the time he could walk, Flint was a trouble maker and was banned from having anything projectile within a hundred yards of him. Eventually, a kind old kung-fu master taught him some discipline but unfortunately may have jumped the gun on the nunchuk classes. After he apologized, Flint eventually developed into a strong fighter who didn't wreck the whole place whenever things went wrong. Unfortunately, instated onto Cactus Island was a representative of the World Government who was a less than admirable specimen. He taxed the country into the ground, the people already lived in a harsh desert environment but now every cent they had was going to this man who was quite literally robbing them blind.
Flint was younger than, but he was still dangerous enough that no-one really wanted to stop him when he set out to stop all this. Armed with a pair of pistols, Flint immediately held up and successfully (alarmingly successfully in fact) robbed a number of visiting nobles and returned to his village with enough Berri to keep them fed for generations. Naturally, Marines were dispatched to fix this 'problem' but they were routinely sent packing by Flint for years, as his bounty slowly accumulated.
It'd be unfair to say Flint got cocky, but he did routinely defeat the marine squads and sent them home sans weapons and often with a horse-shoe embedded in their rear-ends. He slowly became complacent, rather than honing his skills he fell back on them until the day they finally called in the big guns. Flint never knew the marines name, but he slaughtered the entire village for harboring such a wanted 'criminal'. For the first time since he was a boy Flint got angry. He got mad, and with no concern for his own life, he attacked. It was a massacre, the Marines were gunned down and Flint came within a hairs breadth of winning before he was finally taken down. Flint wasn't killed, his crime was too big now, he was taken to a marine base to await public execution.
Which was fortunately the same as one raided by one Rei Satsuki.
During his escape Flint managed to retrieve a weapon his old master had made for him and, after a few moments experimentation, agreed they were indeed the best thing for him (as for what they were, you'll have to see below). As he escaped he eventually saw the person responsible for his freedom and after thinking it over, his entire town was gone, everyone he knew was dead, if he were a pirate he could probably destroy the most in his quest for revenge and they seemed like fun people anyway. His bounty had been rescinded since they believed him dead which meant he had a fresh start. So naturally he's trying hard to join the Black Moon pirates.
ADDITIONAL INFOPERSONAL DRIVE: Revenge on the World Government, but more realistically to keep his friends alive. As an addendum, become the richest man in the world but this rarely comes up.
COMMONLY ASSOCIATED NUMBER: 6 (shots in a revolver)
REPRESENTED BY THE COLOR: Orange, for the setting sun that reminds him of his home.
OFTEN SAID TO BE MOST LIKE: a Dog, either for his loyalty and puppy like demeanor, or his rabid style of attack when angry.
FAVORITE FOOD AND DRINK: Beef Jerky and Sarsaparilla (like a good stereotype)
LAUGH STYLE: BARAHAHAHAHAHA!

ABILITIES AND INVENTORY INVENTORYWeapons
- Gunchuks- In addition to being one of the first types of pistol with more than one shot in it, this pair of revolvers share a very special bond... they're chained together. Yes, through some strange sense of flow and strikes, Flint uses two pistols at long range and at close he uses a pair of nunchuks which can go off and fire indiscriminately. Flint claims he can control them perfectly. Jury's still out. It's why his second alias is more factual and in regards to his style rather than his raw strength. Despite being a somewhat unique weapon, Flint is pretty skilled with them and is often self described as the world strongest Gun-chuku user (even if he's the only one). The revolvers are modified so the butt of the gun is far heavier than usual meaning they require more strength to use but function better as clubs and the barrel has been modified and forged from a special alloy so normal nunchuk style attacks wont cause it to snap
- Long Distance Rifle- Usually left on the ship but in addition to his Gunchuks, Flint also has a high caliber musket style rifle which he leaves in the crows nest. The purpose of the rifle is support and because despite his best efforts he can't get his head around the mathematics needed to fire a cannon so sniping the other people using the cannon is his only other option. Unlike his Gunchuks, the Long distance rifle can take specialist ammunition and he's been pondering getting some (particularly, Kairoseki bullets)
Non-weapons
- Spare Ammo, in abundant quantities, where he hides it is a trade secret
- A cowboy hat, though rarely used
- A notebook with a pencil attached, usually detailing sniping spots and complicated financial transactions
- A snorkel, usually to jam in his Devil Fruit using friends mouths so they don't drown
- A telescope, not for him but because he gets tired explaining what it is he's looking at.
ABILITIES- Whip-crack Lariat- A physical attack, Flint will strike with his gunchuks and a moment before impact fire the gun traveling at his opponent to make it accelerate and hit far harder. How does he make it fire without touching the trigger? Beats the hell out of us, he says he jiggles it with the chain to make it go off but there could well be a trick to it he isn't saying. The attack is pretty powerful though as a direct blow. Flint has used it in a couple of creative ways, such as striking back after being parried or using the shot to block an attack to his body. In another sense, this probably represents his ability to set his gunchuks firing without touching the trigger.
- Field of Bullets- A new take on an old favorite, and one where his alleged control is often put to an extreme test. Flint holds the gunchuks directly in front of him for a while, makes a load wachaaa sound and then begins whipping them around his body. Usually, this is just done for intimidation of displaying how scary and fast the nunchuks are only... Flint doesn't USE nunchuks, he uses GUNchuks. The weapon will detonate at controlled intervals and fire a shot but the angle is almost impossible predict meaning the opponents are nearly always surprised. Unfortunately, his allies can be too since Flint doesn't say exactly where he'll be shooting. He CAN control where the shots go but he's not got 360 vision so still... be cautious (incidentally, this attack in particular may have spurred his alias getting such a wide distance added to it)
RACIAL FEATURES- Unnatural aim- Probably expected but Flint has a supernatural power of accuracy and vision. Which is perhaps strange for someone who's normally incredibly unobservant. This racial ability is how he can block sword strikes with a well placed bullet or control the random firings of his guns during his special attacks. Perhaps most telling of all, his long distance rifle hasn't got a scope, he just squints a little.
- Berserk- the point when everyone realized Flint indeed wasn't a normal human. When he goes berserk he becomes borderline unstoppable, his strength, speed and stamina all shoot up and he'll endure attacks that would kill a normal person several times over just to keep going. He doesn't go berserk very often but when he does a smile spreads over his face. The marine who caught him was a prospective member of Cipher Pol and even he nearly lost to the berserk Flint. It's possible this ability is a family trait but Flint never knew his parents so he can't confirm or deny it. As the obvious downside to this, Flint loses all control and harms both friend and foe, usually racking up a horrific amount of injuries to himself in the process.
