BACKGROUND `` Ace was born somewhere in the Grand Line, probably somewhere close to the Marines Headquarters. Ace was raised by her father Acobarder Xtar, an Vice Admiral. Ace never saw her mother, let alone even meet her. Ace trained under her father at a very young age. First she began training in hand combat skills and building up her muscles. Then she later moved onto swords and learned the way of the sword. For a while she trained on her own before her father adopted a son named Brooklyn. `` She trained with Brook and they became somewhat of a childhood friends with a brother sister relationship. Ace joined the marines at the age of eleven as a cabin girl, she quickly climbed up the ranks of the marine as soon she ate a strange fruit that is infamously known as the devil fruit. She apparently got what it seemed like a lightning logia. An ability to turn herself into lightning at will. `` She became a captain at the age of seventeen that was when she started to really get out onto the sea as a captain of a ship. She fought many pirates and slain them gaining her infamy against pirates. But by the time she turned eighteen, she had already formed a crew. Once the government found out about this, they took Ace and give her a public execution. Though that is not the end of her story. It turned out that she had faked her own death and escaped without the world knowing. `` Not soon after Ace was making her way to her dreams with her new pirate crew. Ace a small crew when she started. A cook and a swordsman named Azure Dusk. As Ace made her way through the journey, she gathered and lost some crew members. She hired Jack, a cyborg shipwright when she was 20. By that time she was having a relationship forming that led to something bigger later on the future. `` Around that time Ace was getting a lot powerful and her crew was too also. After committing many 'crimes' Ace infamously gained the title of yonkou, bringing her closer to the title of pirate queen. She was nicknamed by the Marine government, 'Thunderin' Queen Ace.' She quickly became well known as a yonkou and eventually married to her first mate, Azure Dusk. `` For a while Ace held her position of a Yonkou before getting into a battle with the World Government. The end result was getting Ace herself arrested and taken prisoner into Impel Down where she starved and hidden in the darkness. Soon after that had happened, the newspaper announced that she had died according to a report. Her crew went into an uproar and went on a killing massacre which evidently resulted in getting most of them dead and scattered across the world. `` Ace had been recognized as dead for three years. Currently, the news are spreading a rumor of something mysterious and powerful had managed to escape from Impel Down. The identify of this figure is unknown publicly at the moment but it is indeed Ace who had escaped. Few months passed with random reports of massive amounts of killing by this unknown identify which was Ace's version of training to get herself back to her own strength and also look for a certain person that she had married to but she only found him nowhere so she changed her last name back to Xtar. Depending on which direction they fly, Ace may or nay not have to get out of the way. High sense of smell :: Ace can smell up to miles away, especially blood. High stamina :: seeing that she had many years of training, her stamina is very high than most causing her to last longer in fights and battles.
