APPEARANCEImage Link: Yūka
Height: 5'6"
Weight: 106 lbs
Hair Color: Red
Eye Color: Brown
Attire: Waist-length, crimson colored hair, which curtains over her right eye, and an azure tattoo that labels the young woman a slave; these rather flamboyant features cause Yūka to stand out of most crowds. Standing to no less than five feet and six inches, the girl's height is nothing, but average while her physique could generally be described as athletic. Clear spheres carrying a shade of hazel decorate her fair-skinned, well formed face, granting her a rather innocent appearance. Even though having been fortunate enough to be untroubled by incidents capable of creating wounds that would have burnt themselves into her flesh by leaving traces known as scars, Yūka's fair skin can't be considered flawless due to the tattoo located upon her left upper arm. This mark blemishing her body is a remnant of her past and generally known as slave mark.
When it comes to the choice of attire Yūka isn't influenced by outer standards, such as current fashion trends, and instead wears more traditional clothes that reveal her derivation. Origining from the legendary island known as Wano Country the crimson haired girl usually wears a Japanese outfit reminiscent of a revealing summer kimono, known as yukata. It consists of a short, mainly amethyst colored sleveless robe, adorned with several innocently white flower prints, which is held in place by a dark, almost pitch-black dyed, belt named obi. Following the womens' dress code of Wano, a huge ruby colored ribbon is attched to the back of this piece of cloth, embracing the entire belt with an unobtrusive cord.
Her waist is covered by a purple plaid adorned with yellow borders that reaches down to her knees. The fabric doesn't restrict the female's motions at all, since it is split into multiple edges at the middlfe of the cloth, causing its front to resemble a rather long loincloth. The redhead's well shaped legs are mostly hidden beneath the comforting fabric of matching stockings that reach up to her thighs. The female pirate prefers wrapping her feet and shins in elegant, high-heeled boots that contradict her otherwise traditional attire. The female Wano could be considered a minimalist in terms of accessories, since the only jewelry worn by her is a pair of crystal shaped earrings. Not wishing for her hair to get in her way the female Wano usually ties it up into a ponytail.
Abnormalities: The crimson topped girl carries a flamboyant, azure colored tattoo on her left upper arm indicating that she at one point in time has been considered the property of some noble. Even though having had the possiblity of getting rid of this blemish the young girl decided to keep it as a reminder of her goal, well aware that it might cause her additional trouble in the future. BACKGROUNDYūka was born into the Katagiri family, known for its long history of swordplay and even a few members that became more or less famous within the borders of Wano, as the youngest of three children. The ruby topped girl's parents ran the family-owned dojo that had been in the Katagiri family 's possession for several generations and was located in their hometown. Mino was a small city located on a tiny peninsula that marked Wano Country 's western border. Being part of a traditional samurai family the young child grew up surrounded by martial artists and has been trained in sword fighting for as long as she can remember. Being the youngest of three children and the family 's only girl, Yūka wasn't capable of becoming the dojo's heir, but that didn't stop her from emulating her older brothers, who already were renown samurai at a young age.
This way the crimson haired female spent most of her childhood inside the dojo training with her family as well as her father's students. Years passed and the innocent child had grown into a young woman that was known even beyond the borders of Mino due to her swordsmanship. It wasn't that her skills were superior to all other samurai inhabiting the area, it was the simple fact that she was a woman that was capable of standing up to other swordsmen. However, being a woman her father at some point decided that she was to marry an important businessman. Not intending to go against the traditions as well as her father's wishes the young samurai agreed to the wedding.
Visiting the businessman at his estate in order to get to know him before the actual wedding, Yūka quickly found out that she wasn 't capable of keeping her promise to her father, since the man going by the name of Tano embodied everything she detested in human beings as he was greedy, arrogant, dishonest and selfish. After being insulted by being treated like a servant for three days, she then told him that she wasn 't able to become his wife, no matter what he would do. An act, that proved to be a great mistake as he considered her decision an insult that couldn't be forgiven. Asking her to have one last meal together with him in order to regenerate her energies for the homeward journey, he managed to lure her right into his trap.
Mixing a strong soporific into her food, he successfully managed to drug Yūka. Having the young woman lose consciousness he then took her on board of his ship in order to bring her to an underground arena run by a world noble, where he sold the ruby haired girl. Receiving a slave mark she was then sent into deepest levels of the arena where she was to wait until she was called out to fight other slaves inside a cage that was surrounded by stands filled with nobles, merchants and even officers of the Marine. Not wishing to fight and begging for help Yūka only earned mockery from those that she thought were to protect the people by enforcing the laws. Not wishing to be killed by one of the desperate souls that were caught in the noble's cruel game, she then began to fight for her survival.
ADDITIONAL INFOPERSONAL DRIVE: Yūka wishes to change the world by going against the unjust laws and corruption, but also tries to repay her debt.
NICKNAME: The female pirate is nowadays mostly referred to as either Nōhime or Nō for short. This nickname, meaning Lady from Mino, refers to her origin as she was born in the small town located in Wano Country.
SCENT: Granting importance to hygiene and her appearance in general the luminous haired pirate always makes sure to have enough Beli left in order to obtain perfume that causes her to carry the scent of a rose.
FAVORITE FOOD AND DRINK: Yūka doesn't have a particular meal that she would consider her favorite, but she loves green tea.
