Alignment: Chaotic Neutral Zodiac Sign: Capricorn. Personal Jolly Roger: n/a . PERSONALITY POSITIVE TRAITS: Loyal- Azure is a bit like a hunting dog to his owner. He's loyal to hell and back. He's often the last one to give up on someone he trusts, but the first to trust someone. Not to say that his trust is easily earned, trust is not something handed out. Its earned. Caring- Azure is very much the man who'd stop to help the elderly. If he senses something wrong with you, he'll hound you until you tell him, which is in itself a positive and negative. He likes to make sure that everyone he works with is in tip top condition. He's also one of those guys who'd help you get that girl you've been eyeing. Perceptive- Azure's no dummy. He pays attention to his surroundings always, ok mostly. He's one of those people who studied body language so he'd know who was lying when and the such. Inventive- Azure is a bit like a jack of most trades. He's a master of some, rubbish with some, and pretty good in most. He makes up for what he's bad at by coming up with insane ideas to accomplish something that required one thing without using it. Protective- Azure is very protective of his loved ones, in particular, his wife (though he failed her). He's the type of guy who'd break your fingers if you hit on his wife. Not out of jealousy. Out of dignity. He doesn't stand for insults, especially aimed at either his wife or his crew. Messing with his crew is grounds for a high punishment. NEGATIVE TRAITS: Nosy- As stated, Azure can be very nosy, even if he means the right thing. He'll get into your business, even if there's no room, and will make sure you're ok before leaving. But he still has no room being there. Irritable- Azure, as said, is the kind of guy who'd break someone's fingers if they hit on his wife, then probably beat the hell out of the guy's friends. He tends to keep a rather level head, but, if provoked, all hell and destruction is let loose. There are few things that can calm him down. His wife and his cat are 2. Often too relaxed- Azure tries his best to keep a level head, but often is found lounging and not taking some fights very seriously. He knows that his life is on the line, but why take them seriously when he knows he's going to win. Quick to jump to conclusions- Azure is very much a man who likes to get things done quickly. Unfortunately, jumping to a conclusion is faster and easier. He'll continue his search for the truth if told he is wrong, but it'll always be a possibility in his mind. Self Destructive- Azure blames himself for his wife being captured and often finds himself waking up in tears because of it. Anyone who speaks ill of her or the Black Out crew is an enemy. Anyone. He wears a white low cut sleeveless under shirt underneath a black sleeveless trench coat that is held in the front by two black belts with silver buckles and it exposes his under shirt as well as his simple black pants, dark brown belt with ornate silver buckle. His trench coat has a rather high, straight collar, reaching as high as his chin. He wears only one black, fingerless glove on his left hand. The glove itself was at one time obviously longer, but has burned and tore to its small size over time. Azure wears simple black combat boots. He wears several different necklaces, one a silver cross, one a silver angel wing, some black beads, a few assorted dark colored necklaces. He also wears his silver wedding ring tight on his left ring finger. On his right wrist, he bears a black leather bracelet as well as a loose sliver chain. Abnormalities: His left arm is blackened slightly, as he sold part of his body to a demon for the sake of rescuing Ace, allowing the demon to live inside of it. BACKGROUND Azure grew up in a family that fostered his individuality. Starting at a rather young age, his mother taught him everything he’d need to know about the world. He was homeschooled by his brilliant mother. But Azure’s mother couldn’t always have an eye on her growing scholar. After lessons and during free time, Azure would sneak out the house and run to the docks in hopes of seeing pirates. He dreamt that one day he might get to sneak aboard one of those pirate ships himself and sail off to a life of grandeur. He wasn’t far off. When he turned 8, Azure asked for a sword for his birthday. His parents loved that he was branching out, so they got him a wooden one. Azure “trained” every day. He fought bullies with that wooden sword, protected the candy of innocent kids. He was quite the hero around where he lived. He taught himself how to fight, even if he started with just a wooden sword, he eventually got a steel one. When Azure was 10, his city was attacked by pirates who were aiming for the nearby Marine encampment. The pirates stormed the city and took many innocent lives. The Dusks were not harmed, however, unless you count Azure joining one of the Pirate crews as harming them. Less joined them and more snuck aboard while no one was looking and then forced them to let him stay. They did, what pirate didn’t want more cabin boys? For a good 10 years, Azure made his name. He left his mark as one of the best swordsmen in the world. The purple haired boy, known to many as simple Dark, jumped from crew to crew, not being able to find one that suited him. By the time he was 20, he had already amassed a nice bounty on his head and come into possession of his sword, the Arm of the Angel. Life was looking up. Then he found the Black Out Pirates and his future wife. Ace Xtar was her name, Captain of the Black Out Pirates was her title. When Azure joined he was nothing but her swordsman, a damn good one though. Dark was with Black Out for years before marrying his captain. In that time, he clawed his way up the ranks to get to first mate. But during that time, the sparks between the two flew. It all started with a Masquerade party. Azure knew that Ace was at this stupid function without a date, so he filled that spot of his own volition. Leave it at that night was amazing and the fire started. Azure was as loyal as hunting dog and as strong as an ox. He was like her stone to build her name on. Over the years, Azure had amassed a bounty only dreamed of by most pirates. He became the first being known as a Super Nova. He became worth over 100,000,00 belis in just a bit over 5 years with the Black Out pirates (though has sense lost that title). He also helped pave the way to his marriage and his beautiful wife becoming a Yonkou, her dream. After a few years, the worst happened. Ace was arrested and brought to the lowest level of Impel Down, though it was announced that she was executed. Azure didn't believe the claims, though. He set out to research how to set free his wife, but could find nothing. A one man raid of Impel Down was a fool's errand. His search ate three years of his life. So, instead, he allowed a demon to take refuge in his left arm, for the sake of rescuing his wife. From what the news spoke, his deal worked. The whole gun is black and has a cross on each side, which runs the length of the gun, along with some other engravings. below the barrel, Azure installed an Axe Dial, just to get through pesky shields and armor. Non-weapons Bullets Axe Dial - delivers a thin blast of air in the shape of an X and is capable of slicing through a man and his shield made of iron in one blow. (Installed into his gun). His wedding band ABILITIES Kenbunshoku Haki - Kenbunshoku Haki, also known as Mantra on Skypiea, is a form of Haki that allows the user to sense the presence of others, even if they are concealed from view or too far to see naturally. With enough skill, one can use this Haki to predict an opponent's moves shortly before they make them, thereby making the attack that much easier to evade. This prediction appears to the user as an image or brief "premonition" of what the opponent will do in the user's mind's eye, and the damage the user will take if the attack actually "hits". It appears that the more killing intent the enemy has, the easier they are to predict. Although, more skilled users can predict future moves whether there are ambient murderous intents or not. (brought over from Lucian Sinclair) RACIAL FEATURES Strength- Azure's strength was, although already quite high from his birth, made better when he fused with the demon. He finds firing his handcannon rather easy, never actually experiencing the recoil. He sometimes makes the movement for the recoil just because it "looks cool" to him. He can, now, match a giant in terms of sheer strength. Endurance- Azure's endurance is quite high as well. He can fight extremely long battles without experiencing much fatigue. He can, as a gauge of his endurance, run miles before he is actually panting. Speed- Azure's legs allow him to dash, in straight lines, a speeds that are completely inhuman. He must chain these together to move in different directions. One dash can take Azure 10 feet in the blink of an eye, and he can chain 4 (at max) together. He can pull off 5, but he would literally collapse because of it. 4 leaves him very little energy left to use. Breathing- Azure can hold his breath much longer than the average human being, able to survive with little to no oxygen for up to 30 minutes.
