Name of Character:
Sakana IryokuName of Fighting Style: Fishman Karate
Type of Style Fists and Water Manipulation
Description of Style: Most effective underwater this allows the user to manipulate water (e.g. moisture in air) in order to perform extraordinary attacks or just increase their already impressive strength. An example of such a technique is the Uchimizu which launches a single droplet of water at the opponent with so much kinetic force it pierces like a bullet. The user can also manipulate the moisture in an opponent's body to increase damage.
Moves:
- Hyakumaigawara Seiken (One Hundred Tile True Punch) -
This technique manipulates either moisture in the air or within the body of the user in order to increase the power of the punch and send the opponent flying and cause large damage. This has the potential to break one hundred tiles. This requires a brief pause to build up moisture and after the technique is performed the user must wait an entire post before they can use it again. The user cannot use this if another Tile True punch is on cooldown. - Kaisoku: Harakudashigeri (Sea-Speed Stomach Drop Kick) - An attack that can currently only be used underwater. This is done by the user accelerating rapidly underwater and striking the opponent in the stomach with a drop kick. The power of the kick is increased greatly via momentum. This technique has an odd, but entertaining side effect which is to cause diarrhea in the target if it hits correctly. These symptoms last two posts and the technique has a cooldown of two posts.
- Ka Ka Kakato Otoshi (Fire Flower Heel Drop)-
With this technique, underwater, the user spins and hits the opponent with their heel. Normally this just increases the damage via momentum. Sakana has advanced this technique and is able to spin twice rather than once before hitting. One would expect this just to increase the power a bit more, but it doesn't do just that. Sakana spins fast enough to generate some heat with the impact leaving mild burns on the target. If the normal version is done this needs just a single post of cooldown, if the heated version is used it requires two posts of cooldown. - Kachiage Haisoku(Inner-thrust kick)-
This is an underwater technique which is an inner-sole kick to the opponent's chin. - Jodan Bakusho (High Rank Exploding Palm)-
In the case of most fishmen this is done just underwater and is simply an open palm attack to the chin of a target. Sakana is able to use this on land and will concentrate moisture in the area/her hand in order to increase the power of the technique, this is even more effective underwater where she has more water to manipulate. Requires a two post cooldown. - Senmaigawara Seiken (Thousand Tile True Punch)- An advanced version of the one hundred tile true punch that has much more power, it has the power to break one thousand tiles. This requires a two post cooldown and cannot be used if another tile true punch is on cooldown.
- Kaimen Wari (Sea Surface Splitter)-
The user strikes the top of a deep surface of water with a chop creating a powerful shockwave to strike the enemy. This can send an opponent flying. Requires a two post cooldown. - Karakusagawara Seiken (Arabesque Tile True Punch)-
This doesn't have as much power as the hundred tile true punch, but can be used at range. It has effective power to break 50 tiles at close range or 25 if done at distance. It has a range of 5ft on land and 20 The user strikes with a punch and uses moisture in the area (works especially well underwater) to send a shockwave with a range of 5 on land and 25ft underwater. This has a one post cooldown and cannot be used whilst another tile true punch is on cooldown. - Gosenmaigawara Seiken (Five thousand Tile True Punch)-
This is effectively a five times stronger thousand tile true punch and is able to break 5000 tiles. This has a three post cooldown and cannot be used whilst another tile true punch is on cooldown. - Samegawara Seiken (Shark Tile True Punch)-
Another tile true punch that is considered slightly stronger than the one hundred tile true punch (can break 10 tiles). What makes it truly different however is that this can be used both close range and at a distance of 10ft on land and 30ft underwater, in a similar method to that used by the arabesque tile true punch. If used as ranged its power is halved to being able to break 55 tiles. This has a two post cooldown and cannot be used whilst another tile true punch is on cooldown. - Kyosamegawara Seiken (Big Shark Tile True Punch)-
An advanced version of the samegawara seiken. This is considered to be more powerful than the thousand tile true punch. It has enough power to break 1500 tiles, unless the ranged version is used where the power is halved to 750 tiles. It has a range of 15ft on land and 45ft underwater. This has a three post cooldown and cannot be used whilst another tile true punch is on cooldown. - Kyokansamegawara seiken (Giant Shark Tile True Punch)-
An advanced version of the samegawara seiken. This is considered to be more powerful than the five thousand tile true punch. It has enough power to break 7500 tiles, unless the ranged version is used where the power is halved to 3750 tiles. It has a range of 20ft on land and 50ft underwater. This has a three post cooldown and cannot be used whilst another tile true punch is on cooldown. - Yarinami (Spear Wave) -
A technique used either underwater or on the body of a surface of water. The user manipulates the water to heave a spear-shaped burst of water with enough force to pierce solid structures including ships. This has a three post cooldown. - Uchimizu (Water Shot)-
With this the user hurls a single droplet of water, usually manipulated out of the atmosphere or from within the body, with enough kinetic force that it hits with a similar amount of force to a bullet. This has a one post cooldown and cannot be used whilst the yabusame or murasame are on cooldown. - Yabusame (Arrow Military Shark)- An advanced version of the water shot which fires five droplets of water which are turned into deadly arrows by the kinetic force. This has a two post cooldown and cannot be used whilst uchimizu or murasame are on cooldown.
- Nanasenmaigawara Mawashigeri(Seven Thousand Tile Roundhouse Kick-
An advanced version of the tile true punch that uses the legs instead. The user strikes the opponent with a roundhouse kick that has enough force to break 7000 tiles. This has a three post cooldown and can be used whilst a tile true punch is on cooldown. - Gyojin Karate Ogi: Buraikan (Fishman Karate Ultimate Technique: Mighty Reliant Piercing)-
One of the ultimate fishman karate techniques. The user hurls a pack of water in their hands to create a powerful water shock wave that pierces through an opponent's body. This has enough force to pierce through even giant figures and ships. It has a four post cooldown and takes a post to charge up. - Soshaku (Rough Shark)-
The user uses amazing strength and grip to rip holes in walls that are even made of stone. This can only be used on solid structures and cannot be used on lifeforms. This has a two post cooldown. - Umidaiko(Ocean Drum)-
Used underwater. The user punches the water in front of them sending a shockwave through it to strike the opponent. This hits the opponent doing great damage and leaves a pressure mark on the target. This pressure mark differs depending on the user and in the case of Sakan it is in the shape of her personal flag. This has a two post cooldown. - Mizugokoro(Water Heart)-
The primary technique of this style that the user initiates by first performing a bowl-shaped gesture with their webbed hands (one hand over the other) while underwater right before giving the water itself around them a mighty yank. This allows the user to physically grab and redirect currents as if they were manipulating cloth. - Kairyu Ipponzeoi(Sea Current Lifter)-
Done after Mizugokoro. The user heaves the current upward, where it erupts from the ocean surface as a towering stream of water that can be manipulated. This is normally done to move objects or lift them in some way. This has a two post cooldown. - Murasame (School of Sharks)-
An advanced version of the yabusame which turns the water arrows into sharks which bite the opponent. This has a three post cooldown and cannot be used whilst yabusame or uchimizu are on cooldown. - Uzumaki (Whirlpool)-
An underwater combat technique where the user swims around the opponent rapidly enough to create a whirlpool that traps them. This is quite effective and takes a lot of strength to break out of. It has a three post duration and a four post cooldown. - Deshio (High Tide)-
A high speed movement technique where the user manipulates the moisture within their body in such a way as it allows the body to move faster then it normally would. This is especially useful for avoiding attacks or getting in a quick blow. This can be used three times before requiring a two post cooldown. - Fukashikon (Shark Fang)-
Via a swing of the arm the user manipulates water to launch a crescent shaped blade of water at the target. This has the cutting power of a sword. This can be used five times before requiring a three post cooldown. - Kamehou(Turtle Cannon)-
Inspired by a manga that she once read this technique requires the user of water heart to manipulate a large body of water. This forms two balls of water above the shoulders which are heavily condensed water. With a tthought this water can be sent out in any direction as a high pressure blast. This has enough water to launch for two posts. This has a five post cooldown.
Strengths: This technique effectively enhances the offensive strength of a fishman exponentially by allowing them to manipulate water via the technique known as fishman jujutsu. This increases physical attack power and allows them to use ranged techniques without a weapon.
Weaknesses: The techniques generally require a small amount of concentration. Furthermore, if the user is dehydrated, or the area is too dry then these techniques cannot be used.
