[atrb=cellSpacing,20,true][atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style,background:url(http://i.imgur.com/CaB2Z.jpg); width: 400px, btable] A light breeze on a sunny day, a breeze which slowly swept across the grassy fields alongside a dirt road which led from the nearby town on the Gecko Islands. A day many of the inhabitants of the island were sure to enjoy as it was the ideal conditions to enjoy their daily routines in. The gentle breeze continuing to carry itself through the heavily forested areas outside of the villages, inevitably reaching a body belonging to someone who wasn't native to this island. A young woman who as of recent had began to gain some notoriety amongst the East Blue, although not holding a bounty over her head, most knew to leave her alone if they had heard the stories of the young swordswoman. Rin currently seating herself at the base of one of the many trees surrounding her, the core of an apple sitting next to her, the fresh bite marks still leaking some of the juice held within from them as her eyes simply turned skyward.
She looking to the sky, lost in thought as she couldn't help but thing back, her past fresh in her mind. The sword which her right hand rested upon as it lie on the ground, her fingers dragging across the dirt, uprooting some of the grass along with it as she lightly squeezed the sheath. An audible sound coming forth as the bladed weapon inside shifted slightly, not breaking her current train of thought, it merely furthered it in her mind. The sword that she now held, her deceased Father's who had unwillingly left his girl alone in this world. He having taught her much of what she knows to this day, including the swordsmanship which had killed the woman who called herself Aune, a woman who used a Knife to combat Rin, a knife which Rin still carries on her to this day as a sort of trophy. Her eye's narrowed slightly on her expressionless face as the thought came to her mind, her first kill.
She almost couldn't help but feel the exhilaration once more, her heart seemingly beating faster in her chest at the thought of the life she had taken. The rush of adrenaline in her veins, and the.....smile on her face. How long has it been since Rin had felt that? Having grown so callous, so cold over the years, she honestly couldn't remember, a thought which didn't bring sorrow to the woman, but yet further jaded her, pushing her further into the coldness that she expresses daily. "You shouldn't dwell so much, it's not good for you young lady. A soft, yet strangely masculine voice would call out to her. Finally breaking her concentration, causing her to lower her head slowly, those blue eyes of her's falling upon the body the voice had come from. A young man standing just a short few feet away from her, he with blonde shaggy hair which reached nearly to chin length, a pair of green emerald eyes, well dressed, but most importantly to Rin, a sword at his hip. Her eyes remained narrowed as she practically glared at him, not showing neither shock not displeasure at seeing him there. She just simply stared in his direction, without a word coming from her.
The man would just simply stand there, continuing to look in her direction, a grin on his face as her was leaned up against a tree, propping himself up by his right forearm. "Word travels fast around these parts, and I heard you've been quite the topic to a select group of people, mostly those who dare carry a blade of any sort. He would say lightly, following it with a slight chuckle. RIn's expression still unfaltering as she looked on, she trying to figure out what this man wanted, or what he was playing at, although she wouldn't be allowed too long to thing on the matter, before the man would speak again. "So then, where is Hosei, you are Ishida correct?" The mere mention of her Father's name, nevermind the fact that he obviously knew their family name, meaning he couldn't be speaking of anyone else. It was enough to cause Rin's eyes to widen, finally showing an emotion, the emotion of shock as her brow twitched slightly.
"What do you want with my Father?" Her voice authoritative, slightly hostile as she spoke these words. A tone which caught the man by surprise as he looked on quizzically at Rin for a brief moment before that smirk from earlier returned to his face. He looking into Rin's eyes, able to see the hostility in them that her voice had held. The quick nature in which she had responded in this nature could only mean a few things, but ti wasn't hard for him to figure it out. "I see, that's a shame." He would finish, pushing himself from the tree and taking a few steps toward Rin. Causing the young woman to stand to her feet, sword placed back at her hip and her hand placed firmly on the grip, ready to draw it. A motion which would cause this man to simply raise his right hand up to signify that he meant no harm to her at the present time. Still it wouldn't ease the young woman who remained poised and ready to strike.
"Answer my question." She would practically growl, finally showcasing a bit of anger on her face that her voice had previously held. Showing this man just how sensitive of a subject that her Father was with her. Although it would be enough to cause him to stop in his tracks, three steps from her. "It's not what I want, It's what I've been sent here for. Tilting his head slightly, the blonde haired man simply looked down upon Rin's smaller frame, her expression dropping down to a serious one. "It's what your Mother wants, you." Taken back couldn't even describe what Rin felt at this. Her heart sinking at the mention of it. Her mind quickly trying to rationalize with her, remembering what her Father had said. "My mother died giving birth to me...." She would reply weakly, eyes remaining focused on this man as he feigned shock.
"Oh, is that what daddy told you?" He would retort, showing a bit of disrespect which only caused Rin to practically snarl in retort. "Well, I'm going to guess he also never told you of your homeland, Naito. As well as not telling you about how he stole you away from your Mother. Fact of the matter is this kid, she wants you back and I'm here to take you back." Information, words which felt like bullets piercing her skin, it was impossible for her to register, let alone believe. The confusion, and shock which resided on her face melting away to anger as she gritted her teeth. "You're lying!" she would shout as she drew her sword, obviously having heard enough, her eyes glaring a hole through this man who simply laughed at the display. "Come now pumpkin, you can't beat me, no matter what the old man taught you." these words, they were all that needed to be said for Rin to begin.
Wasting no time, the woman would make her first move. Pushing herself forward and attempting a horizontal slash at the man's neck, attempting to take his head off in one attack for his disrespect. Unfortunately she would soon find her attack stopped short of her target. Letting out a slight grunt as she attempted to push her blade further, the woman would finally look to the side to see that this man had simply placed his hand onto the guard of her sword, stopping it in an instant, and even with both hands on the grip of the sword she was unable to move it forward. This alone showcased a great amount of strength in this man, although with her rage filled mind, it wouldn't register to Rin who simply kicked back from the ground, he letting her go without question, allowing her to do as she wished, still smirking to himself. "Didn't Hosei teach you, keep a level head, unless you want to lose it? The man further taunted, he still not drawing his sword. A fact which only caused Rin to spit in disgust as she looked on at him.
[color=black"I'm going to cut that disrespectful tongue from your mouth!"
|
[/color] Rin would declare, charging back at him, once again blindly as she pulled her sword back and went for another slash attack. "So unladylike like." He would say flatly, shaking his head as she drew near. Easily dodging her attack and retaliating with a kick which sent the woman flying back, narrowly missing tree and tree as she flew, eventually hitting the ground a good five feet back and rolling to a stop on a dirt pathway near the tree she had rested at. Her body sliding, kicking up some of the dirt which made a small cloud around her body. Although this was a simple attack, Rin couldn't help but feel as if she had been hit by a cannonball. She finding it hard to even push herself to all fours. She twitching, a single eye open as she coughed, gasping for air. She barely able to hear the foot stops of this man approaching her once more, his pace obviously leisure from the space between his steps. "I'll admit, I'm not sure what your Mother sees in you from these first impression. A lifeless, unladylike girl, and now obviously a weakling, something you must have picked up from your Father's side I presume." He would say, something which only caused Rin to increase her efforts to stand, but she couldn't and the efforts only resulted in her falling back to the dirt. An action which caused the man to laugh as she heard the sound of his blade being drawn finally, and she soon feeling the cold steel pierce her lower back and come out the front, digging itself into the ground, pinning Rin in place as she let out a scream of pain. Blood almost immediately beginning to leak forth past the blade and onto the ground under her. "I tell you what though, considering your Mother would kill me if you were to die here and now like you should. I'm going to allow you some time to grow before I bring you back to Naito, granted your not so weak to die from this." The man would finish, pulling his blade from her back, her blood dropping from the blade as well as the wound it had created. Without a word, this man would simply turn on his heels to leave. Leaving Rin to her thoughts as her blood began to paint the ground under her. She wincing in pain at the sharp feeling he had left her with. Leaving her to play back the events that had just happened. Her anger leading her to lose, leaving her to allow her Families name to be insulted, her Father's name to be disrespected. More importantly, to be left to consider what this man had said. "Naito..." These would be the last words Rin would speak, her voice weak as she blood continued to leave her, her body weakening as the darkness overtook her. Although not dead, Rin's body had simply passed out from the blood loss over time, leaving her helpless on the dirt road to those who would travel it and perhaps find her fallen body.[/div][/td] [td][atrb=style, width: 100px; vertical-align: top; padding-bottom: 5px;] [atrb=style, width: 100px; vertical-align: top; padding-bottom: 5px;] [atrb=style, width: 100px; vertical-align: top; padding-bottom: 5px;] made by crescent [/td][/tr][/table][/center]

Not that she always listened to a thing that Isaiah told her. She much preferred to walk about in casual clothing than that of her armor that reminded her of home. It made it easier for people to trust her after all if she walked about in casual clothing. This island made it easier to convince her knight to let her to wear what she wanted. The weather wouldn't be pleasant to wear armor in after all.
She donned a pair of short shorts and a tank top as a result of him caving. She'd much rather blend in with the crowd, however, easily she could try to do such a thing. She was rather well known after all, which was the result of her becoming a Shichibukai. It was a step that she needed though but it wasn't her that they knew. They knew someone completely different although her personality was all the same her name was different. By the people and the government she was known as Nova Drake. They wouldn't know her real name until she betrayed them and showed them a taste of their own medicine.
That would be a long time from now though. She wasn't sure when their plan would be put into action but it wouldn't be until much later. At a time that she had more power and she had the means to back herself up. For now she remained a pirate and a dog of the marines. But as Emmaline Kingsley she was a no body who was presumed dead. No one knew she was alive except for the people that she met with the same intentions as her. The only people who would be allowed to know who she was would be those who wished the world government would fall.
Emmaline didn't have much she could do until something interesting happened that required the government to call her in. She didn't have a hold of any islands and she never really was a big shot when it came to pirating. She was more so a threat to the world nobles more so than the innocent people that inhabited islands. That was the soul purpose they made her a shichibukai just to make sure that she'd never potentially attack them. She had an agreement with the government after all and that meant she wasn't allowed to cause any harm to anyone including the marines and the world nobles.
All would remain quiet on her part until she had the chance to raise up and change the world. Some people would refer to her as a revolutionary instead of a pirate but that was because she was. She never did want to become a pirate but that's what the people shaped her into. She had to give her thanks to the people though as they helped her on her path to becoming a shichibukai. They helped her get close to the government so she could destroy them from the inside. But once again that would all come much later.
For now she was just enjoying her time traveling from island to island until the government decided they needed her. She had other things to accomplish while she waited for her time to come. There were several things she needed to do before she be able to reveal her plan but that was okay. She had all the time she needed and she was rather patient. The reason they were here on Gecko Island was all just a coincidence though if it had anything related to her future plans. She hadn't planned on doing much to do with it today after all. She actually wanted a time to sit back and relax or rather Isaiah insisted she do so. For a knight he was rather pushy when it came to his princess.
Though he probably didn't estimate that there would be a bit of a problem on their day of relaxation. No one really plans to run into trouble when all they want to do is relax. They were the same as any other person that didn't plan to run into trouble when they were to relax. The breeze on the island brought trouble as a blonde haired man walked past the lot of them. There was nothing suspicious about him but that was only the cue to the next act after all.
It was the sight that her blue eyes laid upon next as another breeze greeted them though. This sight was what brought the trouble to them all to fast. She was sure that the young girl who was laying in her own blood wouldn't be able to help it. It wasn't her fault most likely that she was in that predicament and she certainly wouldn't be in it for very long. Emmaline's heart was far too big to allow for someone in need to be passed on by her. She was fast on her feet as she made her way over to the girl.
She had black hair and from what she could tell wasn't much younger than herself. Her knight wasn't too far behind her as she looked over the girl to try to figure out where the blood was coming from. She was careful not to bump her in any manner as she didn't' want to bring any more pain to her. Isaiah was quicker to action than her as he pulled his shirt off so he could use it to cover her wound. There was a lot of blood that surrounded her already and the girl was unconscious from the amount of blood she had lost.
There wasn't much they could do about her at the moment and not where they were currently. They had learned a few things over the years and one of them was first aid. It was too bad that her wound seemed to be a bit deeper than what they could handle. It only took them seconds to decide to take her to a doctor inside the town to have him look over the wound. She wouldn't want to leave until she was positive that the girl was recovering with no problem. With that she was hoisted up carefully by Isaiah and they hurried back into town as she kept pressure on the wound.
The doctor almost seemed a bit surprised that she was rushing in through his door with a look of panic on her face. It was probably not every day you see a shichibukai being sympathetic for someone especially since it was a known fact she didn't' have much of a crew. After placing her on a bed they were forced to leave so he could take care of the wound with no interruptions. The pair were left to their own devices as they waited, which consisted of Emmaline waiting in the doctors home and Isaiah wondering off to do his own thing. She was quiet enough that he permitted her as an exception. | [atrb=style, width: 100px; vertical-align: top;]

[atrb=cellSpacing,20,true][atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style,background:url(http://i.imgur.com/CaB2Z.jpg); width: 400px, btable] With his patient lying in the bed within his room, and the company which brought her here having dispersed from the room. Although the pink haired woman did wordlessly insist on sticking around inside his home, whilst the man had wondered off. The Doctor would find it best to concentrate on his patient and the wound which was found on her, a piercing wound which found its way going through the front and back of her. His eyes able to see the lining of the wound and in this day and age he had seen many like it, the wound of a bladed weapon, most commonly a sword of some sort.. Casting a glance back at the open door which led to the rest of his home, the doctor would quickly turn back to Rin, doing his best to just forget about the pink haired woman, she was being quiet after all. Snapping on a pair of gloves, this man would go to work, immediately sterilizing and cleaning the wound before his prying eyes began to inspect it.
Wiping the blood, both fresh and having began to dry away, his fingers would begin to make there way around, prodding ever so slightly around it before he slowly rolled the still unconscious Rin to her side to do much of the same. Although as he continued to look her over, he couldn't help but clear his throat as his eyes narrowing as he looked on. The wound, and as he applied pressure, there was little doubt as with the location of it. Turning his glance to this woman as he gently rolled her over to her back again, he looking at her resting face. The wound didn't lie, whatever it was that had pierced her, it missed her vitals. Of course this could just be dumb luck on her part, but judging by the fact she was brought in, with her sword still in her grasp, perhaps there was more to it than that. Although that would also imply the one who delivered the wound was of high enough skill to expertly navigate their blade through this woman without hitting anything. That would also beg the question as to why? Why would someone do this, go through the trouble of hurting someone and leave them alive when they could have just killed them?
Once more turning back to look toward the doorway, in the direction of the pink haired woman whom may or may not be in his direct view. He couldn't help but wonder if he should go question her about this, her connection to the woman who was now in his care. A weak cough would catch his attention however, he turning to look at the source, Rin he almost expecting to turn and find her looking at him. Although that wouldn't be the case as he would simply see her still resting, her eyes closed. It didn't take long for him to decide that questions could come later, and to continue his work. Very carefully, he would go about patching her up. Wrapping her midsection around with bandages to finish up the procedure. Nothing special, but as with the injury, as long as the bleeding was taken care of and not vitals were hit, all that could be done was to allow for her to rest.
Still, his eyes would turn back to the door as he pulled the gloves with a slight snapping sound following them. The older gentlemen disposing of them as he turned and made his way for the door, for the other room, a serious look upon his face as the analysis fresh in his mind was playing over and over. He hoping to find the other woman still here so as he could get some questions answered about what exactly had happened to Rin. As well as give her peace at mind that the woman was going to be okay, she would survive with plenty of rest.

[atrb=cellSpacing,20,true][atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style, font-family: Georgia; word-spacing: 1px; text-align: justify; background: #153E7E; color: 5CB3FF; padding: 10px; opacity: 0.7; width: 350px;] Emmaline found herself pacing back and forth in the room she had been left to wait in alone. It was moments like these when she wasn't the most patient person in the world. She had always been told she must be patient and shouldn't show any worry but that was a flaw of hers. She had a problem doing just that. Being patient had never been her strongest attribute after all and that was something that showed now more than ever.
She just wanted to be told that they showed up with the girl in time to save her life from such a dreadful fate. She didn't really much care about anything else but that at this moment. Even Isaiah being stubborn and insisting on remaining as quiet and short with her didn't bother her. She had barely noticed him leave out the door as soon as the girl was in the care of the doctor to go after supplies. Her mind was much too distressed to realize he wasn't there the entire time but that was okay.
All she could do was wait as the doctor attended to the girl. There really much else she could do other wise. That was probably why Isaiah had decided to go off and get their supplies ready. He always had his head about him and even though it was an irritating thing from time to time to her this moment it didn't bother her. She was much too concerned about the girl in the other room who they had found lying on the ground.
There were all kinds of questions flying about her mind as she fidgeted. Who could do such a thing? She wasn't really that naive as she was pretty sure that a lot of people were capable of doing such a thing. The world was full of people that wouldn't care a lick if they went about destroying the lives of others after all. She was a victim of such a crime but sometimes she couldn't help but such a thing was possible. In the era of pirates almost anything was possible even if it seemed to be the most impossible thing ever.
It was just about the time that she was mulling over these thoughts in her mind that the doctor made his presence in the waiting room. It took her moment to notice that he was standing that and that was mainly due to the snapping of his gloves. This made her head shoot up and her worried blue eyes looked at him pleadingly. With the way that she was so upset one would think she knew the girl that had almost died due to blood loss. She didn't' know the girl at all but it was her kind heart that let her worry about a stranger.
"Is she okay, doctor?" Emmaline asked as she took a breath to calm herself so she could be as clear as possible. She didn't want the doctor to not be able to understand her and she held back several other questions that were wanting to blurt themselves out. | [atrb=style, width: 100px; vertical-align: top;]

[atrb=cellSpacing,20,true][atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style,background:url(http://i.imgur.com/CaB2Z.jpg); width: 400px, btable] Eying the pink haired woman up and down with a questioning look. This man trying his best to get a read on just what she was feeling as she had taken that breath to calm herself. The question given registering in his mind as he took a moment or two in gathering his thoughts over his analysis. He taking another minute to turn and look back into the room, looking back at Rin who was still out in the bed she was placed in, her blood having stained the sheets, something he would need to take care of later. With a sigh, he simply turned back to the other woman in the house, a stern yet caring look on his face. "She's lost alot of blood, but her vitals are unharmed. She's going to need a few days and a considerable amount of care. Though, she will be just fine, by my diagnosis in the very least." He would say with a slight nod, no doubt cutting the worry of Emmaline down by alot, knowing the girl would be just fine.
Whether or not she showed this, the Doctor would retain that stern look on his face as he looked at this woman. "She can stay here tonight to rest, and with her in that state I'm going to have to ask you now. Does she have any relative, any family around here?" The man would simply wait patiently after this, practically staring a hole right through this woman as he did. Whether or not she would answer this, he would simply take a step back, turning once more to face the doorway, this time not turning back as his back faced Emmaline. "Then again, I don't know what could have happened to her. Judging by the wound, she was stabbed and left to bleed out. Most would say she was left to die, but with no major vitals hit, I would have to question that theory. He would say solemnly, taking a step or two forward as to reside in the doorway, leaning up against the frame.
Taking a long few moments to simply stare into the room, leaving a long pause between his words, leaving Emmaline in silence as his mind began to wander. Questioning the safety of Rin, wondering if the one who did this would return or not, wondering if this is just a part of something bigger than what he could imagine. After what no doubt seemed an eternity, the man would swivel on his heels to face Emmaline again, still leaning on the door frame. "Perhaps you could take her in? Surely with your status, taking care of her and making sure she remains safe wouldn't be such a burden? At least for the time being, that is." He would finish, a slight smirk forming on his lips.
