It didn't take him long to figure out why her water blades weren't aimed at him - she was planning to cut off his escape route for her real attack. Though neither had landed many hits, both had flung attacks back and forth at each other a lot. His body was feeling tired, but so was hers no doubt. Watching as she readied her Yarinami, he too pulled his arms up, readying himself for the counterattack. He wasn't going to let her just hit him, after all. Grasping the water once more with Mizugokoro, he narrowed his brows and focused on her. She'd seen this technique before, but it was still his best defense against her attack.
Sweeping his arms up once more as he pulled on the water currents, he swept them back downwards in time to release a wave of water that rushed forwards to stand against the spear of water. The wave crashed against her attack and took the full force of the strike before washing forwards, threatening to swallow her up. But he didn't doubt her ability to evade his Tsunami Kenjou, especially after having seen it twice before. That was why, right after the wave, he was preparing to attack with a Yabusame. The moment she appeared again, he'd strike her with arrows of water launched towards the direction she dodged in. She'd have to have pretty quick reflexes to defend herself against that.

That wave attack of his was one that annoyed her. It was truly a mighty defense. She wanted to learn how to do it and aimed to do so in the future. However, her body was ready to perform Deshio again so it was easy for her to evade the slowed down wave. As she dodged she prepared her own attack. His wave was what had stopped her murasame before. It was time to see how well he could do without it.
It was fortunate for her that she launched this attack as it was enough to counter act against his yabusame. Afterall, the murasame was an advanced version. It pretty much ate through the yabusame and went straight on without slowing down. She had an idea for a development of murasame, which if she had done...would probably have been able to end this battle.

"You're gonna have to teach me that technique..." Lao Hu spoke, his eyes focused on the advancing sharks. In spite of the fact they could bite, they were still non-sentient. They couldn't change their courses drastically, nor did they have a sense of danger to avoid counterattack. As dangerous as the technique was, it had its weaknesses. Grasping tightly onto the water again, he pulled and twisted it as he began to swim downwards. It might have seemed as if he was trying to swim under the sharks, but he knew he wasn't fast enough to avoid them all. But he didn't need to avoid them all - just most of them. Continuing to pull on the water, he lashed his arms out, causing a whip of water to follow suit and smack through two of the sharks.
With the sharks eliminated by Kairyuu Hebi, he could now advance forwards without having to worry about the others sailing overhead. Getting closer to Sakana, he lashed out with the whip again towards her torso. He aimed to slam the whip of water into her body again. If possible, maybe even catch her and reel her in again. If he caught her, she could no longer use that high-speed movement ability of hers. That was her main advantage, he understood - so long as she could use that ability, she could avoid his attacks. But it seemed a minute ago as if she couldn't use it. Perhaps, then, after using it for a certain period of time her body needed time to use it again? He'd have to aim for that window of opportunity.

That blasted whip technique again. It was very, very irritating. Still, it was very, very useful as well. As he advanced forwards on her with the whip she used mizugokoro to create the Kairyu Ipponnzeoi and used the current to try and knock the whip upwards and away from her. Not the proper use of the technique, but he had shown that it could be used for other things by escaping her uzumaki technique with it. It wasn't too effective because the technique wasn't really designed for the purpose but it pushed it away just enough that she didn't have to use Deshio to dodge it.
Beneath her was a large range of rocks. It was an interesting battleground. Far less open and thus more strategic than how they had been fighting so far. Using the momentary distraction of the current she decided to employ Deshio to quickly move into the range of rocks and move about. It was a useful area. Particularly as it allowed her to use another technique. She quickly used mizugokoro to prepare kamehou, btu did not use it just yet. No it was preparation for a combination. Using the power of soshaku she grabbed onto a large piece of rock and tore out two large boulders which she threw at him one after the other. Behind the second boulder was two balls of kamehou. She still had two ready, but he wouldn't be able to see them coming too easily.
The rocks were merely a distraction. They were easy enough for him to break through and if he did he'd be hit by the kamehou spheres.

She'd deflected his initial attack with the whip, but as she shot down towards the rocks, he was quick to give pursuit. Her speed was giving her more time to prepare her next attack, which drew some ire. Hiding down behind the rocks, she was no doubt planning something. He didn't live this long by rushing recklessly into things, after all. Floating just above the rocks, he paused and waited. He held firmly onto the water whip in one of his hands. The other slowly moved out, staying still in the water as he prepared himself. If he wanted to finish this quickly, he'd need to use anything in his arsenal. Even if it was that. But he didn't need to wait long to see what she was planning, because now she was on the attack.
A pair of stone pillars were thrown towards him, shooting through the water. No Fishman Karate? He found it unlikely. What was the point of the rocks, then? A distraction. It was a common trick, but not a bad one if pulled off right. But even like this, where the distraction was obvious, he still had to pull it off right. Whilst his free hand continued to stay itself, Lao Hu kicked through the water to descend downwards whilst his other arm snapped Kairyuu Hebi forwards, smacking against the side of the rock with the intention to smash it into the other one after it. As both crashed and crumbled above him, he could see the true attacks shooting towards him. Now came the difficult part.
Snapping Kairyuu Hebi out again, he knew he had to make this quick. Snatching a piece of the rubble in the whip's clutches, he swung around like it was a flail and crashed the rock into the two spheres of condensed water, utilizing it like a shield. Rock dust burst outwards from the impact, but looking back to where Sakana had been, he continued to remain still. He just needed a little more time to charge up his ultimate technique. Then, he could begin the offensive. Or rather, end it.

He truly was a fantastic fighter. He had managed to use her distraction in order to block the actual attack. The advantage however was still hers. The dust from the rocks being broken to pieces would give her some cover. It was time to use her speed for offensive purposes. Would he be able to keep up with her? That was something she wasn't sure, but it was worth trying.
With the last use of her deshio for now she charged straight at him at full speed. As she got closer she fired off one of remaining kamehou spheres. He would likely block or dodge it, but it was a mere distraction this time. It was time to show him the true power she had learned. Her fist was clenched ready to use it, but first she would try something else. An attack he had used against her.
Using her high speed she swung up with her leg aiming to strike him in the stomach. If it hit the area it would cause great discomfort for him. Yet like her previous attack with kamehou this was a mere distraction. As she swung her leg she fired off the kamehou sphere at where she thought he would most likely dodge too. She would take this into close range and try to keep it that way. Both of them were deadly in close combat, but she felt she had the edge with sheer power techniques.

He wasn't going to rush in. Whilst the cover was up, he knew she'd launch another attack. But she wouldn't just depend on the dust cover to launch her attack - in all likelihood, she was planning another distraction, followed by an attack. That was what he'd do, and it was what she was likely to do, given her last attack. But then, he'd seen through that already. So what other option was there? Before he thought about it, he watched as her Kamehou attack shot out from the dust towards him, just like before. His eyes focused on the orb, watching as it shot forwards. There was that technique of hers. Whenever she used it, there was always two attacks. This was the first, and most likely a distraction. She still had one more to launch.
But she wasn't launching a second one at him. As soon as he whipped his Kairyuu Hebi out one last time, smacking the orb of condensed water away, she came rushing towards him with that high-speed technique again. She was quick, he'd give her that, but even with the momentary distraction of her Kamehou, he could see it coming. He could react to it. She drew close, aiming to swing her leg in towards his stomach, but he swiftly dodged by shooting to the side, his other arm still drawn back. He knew, somewhere in the back of his mind, that this was the moment she was looking for - the time to launch the second wave of her Kamehou technique. Fortunately, this was the moment he wanted too. After all, he had planned something much bigger than that.
Moving simultaneously as her last attack of condensed water shot towards him, he too thrust his hand forwards. He'd spent a while charging up this attack, but it was worth it now. Now that she was so close, he had a feeling that he'd manage to get at least a glancing blow. And with this technique, a glancing blow was enough. After all, she may have been using some special technique she'd developed over the years, but he was using the technique. Gyojin Karate Ougi: Buraikan. His hand thrust forwards towards her, shooting the water right towards her with incredible force. At the same time he took her attack directly, the force hitting him just after he'd launched his attack. It felt like taking a cannonball to the chest, with even his bones feeling like creaking. He grit his teeth, his body shaking from the blow, but he didn't care. All he cared was whether or not she'd been hit by his strongest - Fishman Karate's strongest - technique.

Her initial strike had missed and it seemed that would be her fatal flaw. Whilst she had managed to get in a blow with the kamehou, which would do some heavy damage, she would be hit with the much more fearsome technique. The Gyojin Karate Ougi: Buraikan. Once that hit a battle was generally over with. However, in her case she would take him with her. As the blow struck she thrust out her fist in his direction and launched her most powerful samegawara seiken.
[color=teal "Kyokansamegawara seiken"
[/color][/b] she shouted in agony as the pain of the buraikan shot through her. The giant shark tile true punch had enough power at range do break through 3750 tiles. If she'd hit him dead on with it would of been 7500. However, she could not. That would be her final attack for this battle. She had either lost or managed to turn it into a draw. She fell into unconciousness her body wracked with pain and heavily damaged. It would be days before she could move again. What was strange though was that despite the damage done to her, the precious family gem she wore was completely undamaged. Whatever it was made from was insanely tough. [/blockquote][/blockquote]

"So I was right... She really has improved...!" the Fishman thought to himself, his body a wreck as, not long after the strike of her Kamehou technique, he took the only slightly weakened force of her improvement to the Samegawara Seiken. A powerful punch that shook his whole body, it was as if a shockwave had gone off within his own chest. If before his bones felt like creaking, he had a feeling a rib or two were broken. His body was exhausted and weakened, with blood dripping from the corners of his mouth. He felt his vision was going blurry, but he couldn't faint. Not here and now. Even if he did acknowledge the incredible skill she'd developed since they had last met, falling unconscious at the bottom of the sea was a bad idea for anyone, even a Fishman.
In spite of how tired and weak he was, he took hold of his old friend and hoisted her over his shoulder. Weakly he kicked and kicked his legs, swimming up. Each kick made him wince as his body was still weak. Any second he felt he could fall unconscious. And to think, she hadn't even developed Haki yet, from what he could tell. She would go far with her Fishman Karate, he told himself. He continued to kick and kick, even as the strain made his body go weak. Right now, he was dependent on what little adrenaline still rushed through him. The lights above were becoming slowly brighter as he rose with his old friend, the sea surface just a few mere feet away. Breaking through, he continued to keep a tight hold of his old friend whilst he treaded water. People aboard the ship looked down at their Captain and quickly threw out a line for him.
As the two Fishpeople were lifted out of the ocean, the Yonkou felt his eyelids droop as his adrenaline rush petered out. His body slackened and pain overtook his senses. When the two were finally lifted aboard onto the deck, he let himself fall into unconsciousness. They'd both be fine when they woke up - they were both tough, after all. But that last attack of hers was one hell of a punch. He only had one last thought before he fell into unconsciousness.
He simply had to learn how she performed those techniques of hers.
