History:
Born in the North Blue, in Sedna Village- Abel was born to his parents Wester and Tina Tanner. He was the third youngest child of the family, having an older brother and sister before him. Growing up his family kept to themselves, though they were cold to outsiders like all the other villagers- they kept a close knit relationship as a family. The Tanners specialized in making bricks to sell for the village. Abel was raised around strong- hardworking individuals which is where he developed his strong fist technique from years of labor and practicing of self defense.
When Abel was eleven years old he ended up having a run in with a hurt pirate, on one of his trips to the forest- cautious he was tempted to leave the guy bleeding in the snow. However his soft heart made it nearly impossible to let the man suffer. He rushed back to his house and got bandages and food for the Pirate and over the next three days nursed the man back to health in a nearby shack. During the time, the Pirate told him stories of his adventures and all the things he had done. Fasinated Abel gained a strong respect for the outlaws and declared that he would become a pirate as well.
The pirate laughed and said he'd make a good pirate someday. The next day when Abel came back the Pirate was gone, leaving a a simple item on the ground- a pair of iron padded gloves. A note laid next to it saying "This is to put more of a punch in your fighting style. Keep training and someday I expect to see you in the deep blue some day! - Your friend, The Pirate." With new resolve Abel began preparing himself for his eventual departure in the future. For years he trained until he perfected his fighting style.
When Abel was eighteen he took some food and possessions and stole a dingy to leave Sedna Island for good. Leaving a note to his family explaining the reason he left, he disappeared into the deep blue... Now Abel is still searching for his own Namaka to become a Pirate worth respecting- just like the one he met when he was younger...
