Consumers of this fruit have been shown to be able to manipulate and change their body into light photons and allows the userto create beams of light from his body. It also enables them to move at the speed of light and transport themselves by means of reflection. The user also has been using the fruit's powers to launch powerful light-energy beam attacks at high speeds from their legs that have explosive properties and piercing properties when they use his fingers. They can blind their opponents and form an energy blade out of pure light. Users also seem to be able to defy gravity using their light powers to eliminate their own weight, allowing them to stay aloft in mid-air for undefined periods, as seen in their aerial battles against Marco.

Strengths:
The fruit's major strengths, like other Logia types, allows the user to become the element they control. In this case, they are able to transform into light. The user is able to utilize light-based attacks that range from shooting laser beams from their hands, fingers, or feet (capable of causing massive explosions), to partial transformations that enable light-speed physical attacks, all of them being very devastating; they are also able to avoid normal attacks by turning into light and allowing the attack to pass through them completely like all Logia users. The user is also able to do planned travel at the speed of light. and is able to reflect himself to any desired location. Due to this fruit's power, the user is possibly the fastest person in the world (as nothing is faster than the speed of light). They are also extremely accurate with their abilities. The user has shown trained reflexes that allowed them to avoid damage even in a surprise attack.
Weaknesses:
The use of Haki can be used to momentarily suppress the effects of the attack. Light can only travel in one direction (though it can be reflected off surfaces). The user is also unable to swim.
