- Kenbunshoku: Due to his rather traumatic experience as part of the 'Island Liberation' taskforce, Red has started to be able to hear the 'voice of all things.' As of right now, he can mainly hear calls for distress or the 'disappearance' of voices, signifying death or near-death. This does not much aid him in battle, but it does give him the ability to find and go to the aid of those who need it most, a gift he is far more grateful for.
- Busoshoku: A skill discovered and nurtured by his Marine family, Red does not employ it often, usually only when civilian lives are at stake. Although he was taught to use it as a weapon during his entire life, he has now decided that it is the 'Haki of 'Protection' and has decided to use it as such as much as he is able. Currently its main purpose is to strengthen his blows.
