The shirt is tucked into a pair of brown pants held up by a black belt. The belt itself has a silver chain hanging from it; the chain attaches in the front and back of the belt. The legs of the pants are tucked into a pair of black leather boots with silver accents. The top of the boots is folded down and split in the middle, forming an inverted 'V' shape. She also wears a red coat over her clothes. The coat is long, the hem hanging down to mid-calf, and trimmed in black with silver buttons and accents. Atop her head is a hat that matches the coat; red with black trim, and two black plumes attached at the top. As Hawk, she wears a black, long sleeved trench coat over a long sleeved white button up shirt. The shirt and Coat are both only fastened over the middle of her torso, and the inside of the trench coat is a blood red. Her coat also has various pockets; two on the outside, and four on the inside. The rest of her outfit is a pair of tight fitting black slacks worn over black boots. She tends to wear black gloves and a black mask covering the lower portion of her face and neck. Abnormalities: She has a few odd features about herself she keeps hidden when she is going around as Hawk. The first is the fact her lips are naturally pitch black in color and her canine teeth are much longer and sharper than a normal person. Her tongue is also quite noticeably longer than normal, and has more of a point at the end of it. She also has a long, black tail about 5' in length and about an inch in diameter. The tail has a tuft of black fur at the end of it, similar to the tuft of a lion's tail. When she is being the Hellfire Queen all these traits are visible; but as Hawk she keeps them hidden, her facial features are hidden behind her mask and she keeps her tail wrapped around her waist under her shirt. BACKGROUND Many years ago, in a small region of Macchina di Terrano, a demon woman seduced a man; not an odd occurance in itself. After this the demon bore a daughter, a lovely white haired girl with a demon tail and black lips. These features were evidence of the girl's mixed blood. Shortly after the girl's birth her mother dumped her off in her father's care so she could continue on with her demonic ways. Not knowing what else to do, her father took her to an orphanage in the nearest town and left her on the doorstep with a note saying her name and an ocarina. The orphanage took her into their care grudgingly; none of them really wanting to help raise a child from such an unholy mix. And so the girl was raised in full knowledge of what she was, and how much those around her detested her. The constant mental and physical abuse she endured drove her to finally strike back at one of the other children, seriously wounding him in the process. This caused her to be immediately kicked out to the streets, given no time to grab any of her possessions she didn't constantly have with her. Now left to fend for herself at a young age she resorted to living in the alleys, eating rats, birds, and whatever she could manage to steal from the marketplace. This soon led to her pickpocketing unsuspecting passersby. One pickpocketing attempt would lead to the most important change of her life. She'd upped the danger of her targets after having successfully stolen the purses from many of the lower middle class. Her first attempt at snatching the purse of someone who looked weathly proved to be a bad idea when the person in question caught her. She feared she'd be turned in and locked up so she tried to fight, biting and clawing at the man's arm. It did her no good though, as she soon found out the man in question was a cyborg with a metal arm. Thinking she was doomed, the girl couldn't stop herself from crying in defeat. To her surprise though, the man instead offered her a place in his crew. She accepted, not knowing exactly what she was getting into, but willing to do almost anything to stay out of trouble. She was nine the first time she set foot on a ship, the cyborg man being a pirate captain. The place on the crew she was given was as the cook's assistant. Her duties were helping to serve rations and various cleaning duties around the ship. She slept on a small cot in the captain's quarters, the captain treating her as something of a daughter as she grew; even teaching her how to fight and defend herself. Once she was 13, and could fight well enough to take down almost anyone she fought she was given a hammock in the kitchen to give her the privacy a young woman deserved. Despite being a pirate, the captain made sure Hakkyou was shown basic courtesy by the crew. Not long later, their ship was set upon by marines. During the struggle the captain was killed and the crew captured. Hakkyou barely managed to escape imprisonment by claiming she had been taken captive by the pirates; and of course the marines believed her. Now being free and no longer on a crew Hakkyou set out and began making a name for herself. She quickly became known as the Hellfire Queen, and became a Yonkou shortly after. Now she's currently shipless and crewless after a mutiny by her previous crew. She saw to it they were all either killed or imprisoned in Impel Down for the rest of their lives. The scabbard is glossy black and tied around her waist with a black and red leather chord. The sword itself is black metal with a red sawtooth pattern on the blade. The blade is 3' long and the hilt is 1'. The hilt is white with black and red leather wrapped around it, and the hand guard is pitch black metal with a simple 4 pointed star design. It attaches to Hakkyou's belt and she keeps it on her left hip. Facem Firebrand :: Just a simple flintlock pistol. Hakkyou keeps it in a black leather holster attached to the right side of her belt. The pistol itself is made of blackened steel and has some decorative filigree along the barrel in the shape of flames. Chi Shikon Blood Fang :: A dagger Hakkyou keeps hidden in her boot. The scabbard is simple black leather with red stitching. The dagger itself is 10" from end to end. The blade is 6" long and the hilt 4". The metal is silver in color and the hilt is bound is black cloth. Non-weapons Kiseru Pipe :: A long Kiseru pipe made of a bamboo body and gold mouthpiece and head. The body is painted red with thin black lines forming flames running along the sides. Tobacco Pouch :: A small pouch of brown leather filled with sheesha for her pipe. Lighter :: A silver cased lighter Hakkyou filched off a merchant a few years back. Ocarina :: A two octave, ceramic ocarina. Hakkyou keeps this well protected in a velvet bag kept inside her coat. The ocarina has a green and black finish and is perfectly tuned in the key of C Major. This was her only possession as far back as she can remember. She also remembers hearing from one of the orphanage workers that it had been a gift from her father. ABILITIES Kenbunshoku Haki :: Kenbunshoku Haki is a form of Haki that allows the user to sense the presence of others, even if they are concealed from view or too far to see naturally. With enough skill, one can use this Haki to predict an opponent's moves shortly before they make them, thereby making the attack that much easier to evade. This prediction appears to the user as an image or brief "premonition" of what the opponent will do in the user's mind's eye, and the damage the user will take if the attack actually "hits". It appears that the more killing intent the enemy has, the easier they are to predict. Although, more skilled users can predict future moves whether there are ambient murderous intents or not. Busoshoku Haki :: Busoshoku Haki allows the user to create a force similar to an invisible armor around themselves. Similar to Tekkai, this allows the user to defend against attacks that would otherwise cause them harm. Only significant physical force can overcome this defense. Naturally this "invisible armor" can be used as a weapon to strike others with. It can be used to augment the user's own attacks, projected ahead of the user as pure brute force, or imbued in weapons to increase their effectiveness. Any attack enhanced by Busoshoku Haki hits immensely harder than it would normally be without it. The Kuja's Haki-imbued arrows, for example, are capable of penetrating solid stone. This type of Haki also has the ability to bypass the powers of a Devil Fruit user, touching the "substantial body" beneath whatever protection the fruit provides, such as the case of body-altering Devil Fruits such as Logia users. However, unlike seastone it does not negate a user's Devil Fruit powers, allowing them to defend themselves, and continue fighting normally. By the same effect, Haki can also be used as a higher level of offensive, moreso than just bypassing a foe's Devil Fruit powers. It can be used to harden parts of one's body, turning the area black, making the user denser and more formidable, and giving their attacks greater power. RACIAL FEATURES Succubus's Charm :: Thanks to the blood Hakkyou inherited from her Succubus mother, Hakkyou is able to charm any male. The strength of the charm depends on the willpower of the male being charmed. This ability can be nullified by strong Haoshoku Haki users due to both Haoshoku and Succubus's Charm being strongest against weak willed individuals. If the Haki user is male then Hakkyou can use Succubus's Charm to attempt to overpower their will, but if the user is female then Succubus's Charm is completely nullified. The only time she cannot attempt this ability is when using Hellish Half-Blood. Devil's Step :: Due to the demonic blood in her veins, Hakkyou is able to run at inhuman speeds for short periods of time. Thanks to this speed she can travel short distances in the blink of an eye. She can chain these "flash steps" together to travel longer distances quickly, but like a cheetah she tires rather quickly and can only keep the chain going for a few minutes before needing to rest. One "flash step" can take her a max of 15' away over flat ground, longer if she's on a downward slope. Any Drink, Any Time :: Thanks to the demon blood in her veins Hakkyou has a very high tolerance for alcohol. So far no normal human has ever been able to out drink her, and most others can barely hold their own. She needs to drink nearly twice as much as a normal human to start a buzz, and about three times as much to actually get drunk. Since no one's been able to drink her under the table it is unknown how much alcohol it takes for her to pass out from drinking too much. Hellish Half-Blood :: One of the most dangerous abilities Hakkyou possesses. This ability allows her to transform into a demonic mix of her human form, and the form of her demon side. In this form she is, for the most, part human in appearance. However, the demonic traits she gains in this form give her a very terrifying appearance. Her ears are replaced by two sets of long, vulpine ears covered in black fur. She gains two extra sets of smaller eyes on either side of her normal ones, and all six turn a pupil-less red. Her teeth and tongue remain the same, though her tail gains an extra foot in length. Her nails change to sharp black claws, and her legs turn more canine in shape with large clawed paws. Her legs are covered in the same black fur as her ears and tail, and rip through any clothing restricting them when she changes, though her hips remain the same size so only the lower parts of her pants are affected by this. The final touch to this form are spikes protruding out of her shoulders, some large and some small, most of them being attached directly to her shoulder blades. The spikes rip through whatever clothing is in their way, oriented to point back and curve down. This form gives her increased speed and strength, as well as unlocking her demonic bloodlust. Since she can still use any abilities aside from Succubus's Charm in this form, it is very wise to give her a wide berth when she is.
