She appeared on the radar of the Marines about a year ago and has since become known as an incredibly dangerous person and notorious troublemaker. Her nickname, the Black Witch, actually comes from the black coat that wears she wears and the widespread belief that only someone using magic or the dark arts could pull off some her daring escapes and feats that she has. In truth, Rei possesses no magical abilities, but remains a somewhat enigmatic fight, possessing both a brilliant and dangerous mind, as well as incredibly ruthless nature towards those that cross her or her crew. Known to be incredibly strong leader, she is reportedly both very fair and very protective of her crew, often treating most of them as an extended family. While Rei is not normally one to seek out a fight, those who fall under this category and the need to protect them, have been known to bring out Rei's more cut-throat nature as she will do anything to protect them. However, her most notable enemies are the Marines, as both the Captain and several members of the her crew, seem to have some deep dislike for the World Government. Besides the obvious fact that Rei is a pirate, she has managed to escape capture on multiple occasions and destroyed several Marine bases, making her a wanted criminal. His relentlessness and personality also seemed to bother her, as like many, Jean justifies cruelty towards anyone who stands against the Marines and calls it justice. Of all men, he exactly the type of man Rei despises most in the world, though the feelings seem to be mutual as Jean appears to despite the pirate with a passion and has sworn to kill her with his own hands. The say may not can be said of Victoria's view, however, as the damage Rei caused during their first meeting was quite expensive to rebuild and aside from preventing her committing suicide in an attempt to catch her, Rei also tricked her by practically seducing the poor Marine Captain, before running away. Despite this, Rei seems to view her as a very devoted and passionate individual, even admitting some regret that fate had placed them on opposite sides. [/style]
