ALRIGHT. So, I'm basically the odd jobs guy. I've been put in charge of running this "betting" thread. Here's how it works:
I'll post up a list of the match-ups and each player can come here and place bets (using beli, which will be taken/gained depending upon the outcome of a fight). This is all OOC but it does effect your beli. I'll be keeping track of everyone who posts along with their bets, so don't think about deleting your post or editing your amount. If I catch you doing that, I'm taking it all and donating it to the bank.
Players may also post match ups for upcoming fights they have planned.
Division of beli is done in a simple way. We add up all the beli, then divide that number by the number of winners (rounding the number up if need be), then giving each winner the respective amount of beli. The Minimum bet is 400 beli.
You must have beli to bet, obviously, and we aren't a charity. We won't take a bet based on "oh I will have that amount".
P.S. No betting on events or missions (when those come out), unless of course the event is an arena type.
P.P.S. If a combat thread dies, the last person who posted is dubbed the victor (even if they were technically losing).
P.P.P.S. We will be doing "main event" types of betting at times (I will label which fight is the main event. This means that the minimum bet is doubled (so 800 beli), but we take the sum of all of the bets then double that and divide it among the winners.
