He grew up as the son of Vice Admiral, so he became loyal and stuck up like all the other Marines over time. He also had to have proper etiquette and manners in general. After his father's death and years of training to become a pirate, Minoru set off to start his pirate life. After meeting Rei and the Black Moon Pirates, he decided that -after a lot of fighting- he would join the crew as the swordsman. He usually roams alone a lot and usually gets in fights. He does not easily open up to people, and most people will find him rude. Maybe, seeing as it's possible for anybody to have a friend, Minoru might consider you a friend. To Minoru though, just being on the same crew won't make you a friend, just a comrade, and he's loyal to his comrades. That's one thing the Marines taught him. He treats everybody like an enemy, even a stranger walking past him. He always keeps his guard up, as anybody could be an enemy. A little fight with him won't make him consider you an enemy, though. He thinks most people aren't worth his time, so you would have to try pretty hard to get him to consider you an enemy, opposed to somebody that her merely dislikes.
