BACKGROUND Throughout the history, the relatively small von Frevel family from Ilusia Kingdom has been considered a black sheep among Nobles, a filthy stain on their reputation. They are known as a bloodline of liars, thieves, sinners and monsters. The World Nobles refuse to acknowledge the family, most Marine branches tend to keep their distance and even the pirates don't want anything to do with them. Only thing that has kept people from wiping out the bloodline, aside from the family's reclusive habits, is deep rooted fear. Mean, persistent rumors claim that the family has demonic origins and strong connections to netherworld. It said that anyone who gets involved with them is either dragged into hell or turned into a demon. Much to Lucia von Frevel's dismay, all those things are true. ...Well, except for the dragging into hell part. That rumor started from a huge misunderstanding involving Grandfather Jonathan von Frevel and some Marines. Though the family is the black sheep of Nobles and most of them are admittedly crooked, they still hold traditions in high regard. From the beginning, Lucia, the only child of Marcus and Alexandra von Frevel, was raised to become a polite and intelligent noblewoman. Still, thanks to all the bad reputation, she spent her entire childhood alone. Without anyone to play with, she devoted her time to reading and studying. She quickly took special interest in medicine and anatomy. And for a good reason. Against all odds, the name von Frevel holds a single piece of good reputation. Even their most devoted enemies agree that their medical prowess is inhuman. It runs in the family, along with some other supernatural qualities. Lucia's grandfather, known as Vampire Jones, worked as a doctor on Gol D. Roger's ship. During her studies and medical training, her parents noticed she had inherited many of her grandfather's natural talents and abilities. Both of them wanted her to have a chance to become a great doctor, but they disagreed on the method. Her mother wished her to marry a rich nobleman and become a renowned doctor for the World Government, while her father thought that becoming a famous pirate would make her innate talents bloom. After many heated arguments and nights slept on the couch, they agreed to let their daughter decide for herself. On her twenty-first birthday, they sat down as a family, told the history as it was and presented her with the options: a noblewoman or a pirate. She chose the latter without a moment of hesitation. Sick of sipping tea, being alone and restraining her inherited abilities, she boarded the first ship towards Loguetown. So began her story. It is black on the outside and red on the inside with a black, hooked handle. While it's large enough to shade her completely, it's still light enough for her to swing around with just one hand. When folded, however, it hits just as hard as an aluminum bat. It also has a sharp spike on the top for thrusting attacks. RACIAL FEATURES Demonic Vitality: Lucia has been blessed with vigor, energy and overall power to survive far beyond human limits. She has the energy to go days without eating or resting. Her body heals up three times faster compared to regular mortals and for her there is no such thing as a permanent injury. She is also immune to common diseases, while any poisons only work at half power against her. However, physically she is just as fragile as any girl of her size and can't take much in a fight before going down. She can simply handle gruesome injuries without bleeding out or going into a shock. This trait also makes her age slower and is the reason for her appearance. Woman Scorned: Under normal circumstances, Lucia is just as weak as she looks, having the power of an average human, but all that changes drastically when she's enraged. She gains a purple aura around her whole body, her eyes start glowing and her voice gets distorted like there were three different people speaking at once. Entering this demonic rage amplifies her strength, speed and damage resistance to superhuman levels. Her physical strength increases to the point where she can lift, swing and throw a common bear (~600 pounds) with little effort. She becomes fast enough to keep up with most Soru users both in reaction and movement speed. The purple aura makes her sturdy enough to withstand small arms fire and regular slashes without even flinching, while heavy hits injure and stagger her. This state lasts until she calms down or for maximum of three posts. On the downside, she quickly loses the boosts if she is overwhelmed by some other emotion. For example, it is very easy to flatter her out of the rage. She can't activate it on will either. The source of rage has to be something someone else said or did recently. Infernal Bite: Lucia has inherited monstrously strong jaws from her father's side. Her teeth are about as strong as steel and her bite can crush bones. When Woman Scorned is active, she is able to catch bullets and blades with her teeth. Additionally, she has the ability to stretch her jaw to take up to three times larger bites than a human.
